Vehicle History: Purchased in June 2005 from a little Asian man in Sydney who had clearly neglected and miss used the vehicle. The car had been imported from china by himself where he did things only an imbecile would do to an esprit, ie; glue an ashtray to the dashboard !! Anyhow once I had the car in my care I had the engine rebuilt by Luke at automotive diagnostics in Ringwood and a few other minor jobs done by Steve Taylor in bayswater. Vehicle History: I am the first registered owner. She just reached 38,000km.I bought 2 S4s's - one black and this mustard one. I was using the black one as an every day car and the mustard one was pampered with the intention of keeping it forever. She is the only Norfolk Mustard S4s in the country, out of 16 S4s's in Australia. She is a genuine 1996 built (one of only 30).She has the following modifications (all parts are genuine Lotus from their later models or their race cars): #6 Red Race Chip,larger secondary injectors.

performed 0-100kph in 4 sec, 1/4mile in 12.2sec and 307kph top speed, all GPS veryfied.

Club Lotus and the Elan Factory have been invaluable & have probably saved me 10's of thousands in servicing costs. I now do most of the work on the car myself (most servicing centres leave it in a worst state than it was before). I'm currently working on the cosmetics, but really need to sort out the air conditioning system (Help!). Very few mods other than necessary ones (99% original). Anyway, it has been a real experience owning it.. and it's my pride and joy

Vehicle History:I bought this car 3 years ago in Melbourne from a business partnership breakup. Prior to that it belonged to Mike Palmer, ( hi Mike!) It was part of the stock market crash of 1988, the year it was built, and was reposessed and sat in a wharehouse where it was bought by a businessman along with the remaing 14 of the 25 that were imported in 1988. He kept this one as the Australian Brochure car as it was the only one that was painted in the Claret Red in 1988 and had it registered and spec'd as a 1990. It has been O-ringed and has 3" Exaust with High Flowed T3 and is running 10.5lb of boost delivering 230 horses at the wheels. Citroen Transaxle is now semi reliable due to crogenically treated gears, crown wheel and pinion.Mostly Manitained by Team GP in Melbourne and now at Brisbane Tuning and Turbo here in Brisvegas, Nice clean old girl, well maintained and a pleasure to drive.

Vehicle History: Originally purchased & registered in the UK by an Airline Pilot who was extremely fastidious & made sure that the car was optioned with the best of everything. Arrived in Australia in late 2005 and I acquired it in 2006 (4th owner). The car is totally original and in extremely good condition with every receipt & service document duly logged & archived. I drive it regularly at least once a fortnight on weekends, weather permitting. I carry out all my own servicing, including belt changes & tensioning, etc (I have obtained all the Lotus factory tools to complete the majority of service requirements) as I do not trust anyone else to satisfactorily & honestly maintain the vehicle. Real knowledge of the V8 is extremely rare in Australia, including the factory dealers, and I’ve found it easier to obtain the tools & knowledge myself. It also makes maintenance much cheaper, but much more fun as I enjoy having a tinker and they are relatively easy to service. No real problems with the vehicle, but I never drive the car hard (maybe firmly from time to time) and respect its limitations. Fabulous supercar to own, with mind numbing performance, that still turns heads everywhere it goes.
